With a wealth of experience as the Secretary-Treasurer of a sizable local, I have effectively managed a full-time office and dedicated staff while instilling financial integrity and transparency. I proudly serve as the Treasurer for both a 501(c)3 charitable organization and two PAC funds, underscoring my unwavering commitment to the welfare of our members and advocacy of our shared objectives. I possess a comprehensive understanding of the necessary filings and compliance protocols of all entities, recognizing the paramount importance of adherence to regulations.
One great accomplishment is successfully streamlining accounts payable and receivable by implementing and executing a plan to transition to an electronic format. Accomplishing this while emphasizing accountability and precision equips me with the knowledge and know-how required to navigate the intricate financial landscape that the Florida Professional Firefighters demands.
